DRESS FOR THE JOB YOU WANT, NOT THE JOB YOU HAVE

I recently received a phone call from a friend of mine asking for some advice on what she should wear to a job interview, the job being a car sales executive. I recommended a black or navy blazer, a pair of bootcut suit trousers to collaborate with the blazer, a white shirt or blouse and finishing the outfit off with some black office shoes. To me, dressing correctly is key to a successful interview. A good first impression to a possible future employer can mean the diffrence to getting the job or not. Whether I'm going to lunch with friends, on a date or at work I like to present myself in the best possible way. Especially in today's society where human contact is so quick, what you wear or what your personal presentation is like is instant language. In some ways people can underestimate the power of what a good outfit can really do.
