I see mustard as a very interesting colour that isn't usually seen, especially at this time of year. I think it is a colour that's tricky to get right, but when you do, it can look very stylish. I respect it's not a colour everyone will like to see or wear.

Personally, I think it's a colour you really have to commit to and have confidence in. You certainly have to make sure that what you are wearing agrees with it, there is nothing worse than a colour clash with such a bold colour. I wore my mustard jumper with my dark sky blue suit trousers (I even surprised myself with just how well the two colours got along) and a navy cotton shirt to add some definition. Additionally, I accompanied my outfit with brown brogues, which I was never really a fan of until I bought a pair; their unique design and style really grew on me. I like how they work with a mixture of outfits, which I do look for when buying shoes.

I would highly recommend investing in a pair to both men and women. There is quite a mixture of colours and textures to my outfit, but when I look at the pictures I think it is quite a straightforward look. Although it stands out with the bold mustard colour, it's not too in your face where you can't divert your eyes from it, yet just eye catching enough. My point is that if the different pieces of your outfit work with one another then no matter how big or bold your dress sense, you can still remain looking chic as ever.
