I find in this day and age we seem to focus so much on the actual Christmas Day that we forget the important moments leading up to it. Whether it's buying gifts for your loved ones, opening your advent calendar or decorating the tree, these moments leading up to the big day are every bit as special which sometimes we forget to acknowledge. Personally I love deciding on the perfect party look which I was choosing last Thursday with intu Chapelfield as part of a Blogger Challenge they had invited me to do. They had kindly given me a gift card to help me find an outfit and prepare for the festive season, in others words to get Christmassing! For those that aren't familiar with intu Chapelfield, it’s a shopping centre in the heart of Norwich that covers everything from H&M to House of Fraser, something for everyone. I began with Zara and worked my way along the multiple retailers looking for something that would catch my eye and that I knew I could dance the night away in at a Christmas party.
My first purchase of the day was this beautiful River Island shirt that drew me in as soon as I laid my eyes on it. It screamed heritage and elegance at me with it’s mixed colour palette and unique print that assured me I would be able to tackle any Christmas event or party in. I'm obsessed with anything different which this shirt is a perfect example of that has made me excited to style and wear it in the future, a possible Fashion Week look?
Next we ventured over to Accessorize to browse the gorgeous selection of bags and accessories. I particularly like shopping here as it offers a broad range of styles for different occasions which not many brands do. I noticed this bag straight away from the bold silver colour that’s not too overpowering to your look but still compliments it with a chic statement. The simplistic design and practicality is another feature which makes it the ideal bag to hold your essentials you want to take for the night you have ahead of you.
So now I've got the all-important outfit *ticks off list*, I can now look forward to the exciting month I have ahead of me. Also not to mention that fact I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet!
Whatever you do at Christmas or however you decide to spend the days leading up to it, make sure you appreciate every moment with those who mean the most to you.
