With another fashion month done and dusted I thought now would be the perfect time to share my essential items that help me survive it, yes I do mean survive. May the odds be ever in your favour!

-Taking countless outfit pictures and multiple catwalk videos, unsurprisingly, has an affect on your phone battery which none of us like to run out of at the best of times, let alone during fashion week. I couldn't get through the day without my portable charger as I'm able to charge my phone during shows, getting coffee with friends and everywhere else in between. You never want to miss an Instagram photo opportunity!

-Believe it or not fashion week can be extremely dehydrating on your skin (first world problems, I know), especially this time of the year when the weather is so shit. From moving around big cities, attending various shows and having serious lack of sleep which comes as part of the parcel with fashion week, all has a big impact on your skin which is why I find it so important to carry a good moisturiser with me. Everyone and every moisturiser is different which is why it's crucial to find the one that suits your skin, once you've found it you can't go wrong.

-This app is seriously a god send! There's nothing worse than trying to get to a show or party, usually on a tight timeframe, and having absolutely no clue where you are. Citymapper allows you to plan your journey through any mode of transport to help you get from A to B in the best possible way, and when you're as prone to getting lost as I am this app will quickly become your best friend.

-This is an essential thing to have on you at all times during fashion week, you never know who you're going to bump into which is why I recommend to network during fashion week as much as humanly possible. You just might meet the person who will one day give you your dream job in the industry which is why having a business card with all the right information on could be your advantage to employability.

-Truth be told this is actually a really good cover-up if I've got a show first thing in the morning and look half asleep with bags under my eyes, usually self inflicted from one to many glasses of champagne at an afterparty the night before. Aside from that this is a chic accessory to have with you to help complete any look and be sure to make a statement.
