Q: What was the inspiration from your recent collection?

A: My Seychellois island heritage.

Q: Describe your sense of style in 3 words?

A: For the moment I would say "simple city chic". My style is constantly changing depending on my mood, fashion is an expression of feeling.

Q: The best fashion secret you’ve learned?

A: Small boobs are in. Ladies, say no to boob jobs!

Q: The best piece of advice you would give to somebody wanting to be a designer?

A: The fashion industry is cut-throat, perseverance is key. Also, malls are dead, go online!

Q: The best thing about participating in a runway show?

A: The process, from concept to seeing the range come to life on the runway. Those last minutes are so rewarding.

Q: During fashion week, what is an item you couldn’t live without?

A: This season, my black suede trench coat.

Q: If you could work with any other designer, who would it be and why?

A: Dsquared! I love their glam rock style and how elaborate their runway shows are. It would be an exciting experience channeling creativity to such a level.

Q: Something you would never wear?

A: A bra!

Q: What is the future of fashion?

A: Sustainable wear.

Q: What can we expect to see from you in the future?

A: An upcoming swimwear range which I can’t wait to share with you all.
